Bobbie's big, kind heart is a loss to us all. I have fond memories of working with her at the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation and share the sadness that all of us in the Curatorial department feel at learning about her passing. I especially connected to Bobbie through her love of gardening. I have two trees in my yard that Bobbie gave me when I moved in. I think of her every time I see them. What a lovely legacy to leave behind. My deepest condolences to her dearly loved, and often spoken of, family.

This is absolutely lovely and a perfect eulogy for Aunt Bobbie. I’m so grateful for the time she and John took to visit Dad (and Mark & me) not too long ago. It was a wonderful visit, memories that I think of often and with fondness. My Aunt Bobbie was truly one of a kind, you never had to wonder what she was thinking, and when she loved she loved big with her whole heart. I know it couldn’t have always been easy being one of Dad’s little sisters, LOL… but he did surely love his ‘Bert’! I’m so grateful for her part in our solid loving family (full of powerful women), a foundation that has helped me become the woman I am today. We will miss you, Aunt Bobbie. My love to Chris, Mamie, and John, and your beautiful families. Always, Monica
