Robin Probasco passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at her home in Virginia. Born to Joe and Ruth Mussolini on May 27, 1956, in Newton NJ, she graduated from Newton High School in 1974 before attending Northeastern Bible College and pursuing a career in nursing. She married Robert Probasco in 1979, and made her home in Virginia Beach, VA.

Robin was most proud of her role as “Mom” – she had a quick sense of humor, a warm spirit, and a natural ability to make people feel cared for. She found joy in working with children and was active in the children’s ministries at First Baptist Church of Norfolk and Freedom Fellowship. Her faith in Jesus Christ was a steady source of strength and comfort, as was music, time with loved ones, and warm days at the beach.

Robin is survived by her family: Kim Mussolini Jarvis, Karen Walk (Tim), Douglas Mussolini, and Elizabeth “Betty” Smith Mussolini; her former husband, Robert Probasco; her children Amy Probasco, Katie Weinmann (Sean), and Joe Probasco; and her beloved grandchildren, Riley and Skylar Weinmann, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, at Freedom Fellowship. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at the church (836 Regency Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).
