Virginia Beach – Ronald R. Stokes, 51, passed away on September 6, 2013. He is from Tampa, FL and was born to Willie and Miriam Stokes.
Ron was a die hard football fan Go Bucs!. He enjoyed playing pool, watching sports, listening to music, cooking and spending time with his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 15 years, Cynthia Langley; son, Ronald Stokes, Jr.; step-children, Jenell, Jacob and Curtis; grandchildren, Baby Jacob, Ronnie, Aiyanna, Brandi, Angelina, Isaiah, Carlos, Jr., Aubrey, Travis, Maddison, Mya and Lonna; brother, Marchant Stokes and wife Antionette; sisters, Kathy Stokes, Felicia Lowe and husband Derrick, and Jodi Jones and husband Terelle; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Special thank you to the Staff of Virginia Oncology Association and to Medi Home Health and Hospice for all of their hard work and dedication.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 6-8pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462 with the memorial service being held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Medi Home Hospice, 1112 Eden Way North, Suite 200, Chesapeake, VA 23320 in “Memory of Ronald Stokes”. Cremation Society of Virginia is handling the arrangements.
