My condolences to Ruby's family. I was saddened to hear of her passing. Ruby was my mentor when I was training to be a Master Gardener and we became friends. We'd meet up for lunch every once in awhile and always caught up with each other at the Update Meetings. She was a person interested in many cultures whether it was belly dancing or yoga classes. We lost track of each other with the COVID pandemic. I will miss her kindness. Rest well Ruby.

So enjoyed knowing Ruby as a member of the VB Master Gardeners--lots of fun and hard work under the AREC trees together. Thanks, Ruby, for sharing your knowledge!

Ruby, you left too soon. We never all the lunches and dinners I planned in my mind for when I move to VB. I will miss them sorely. Oh how I miss our late night conversations about our politicians and the state of our country. I hope you are reaching down and helping us out a bit, and not just laughing at us. Every time Obe does her little tinkle thing I think about you and I can hear you laughing. I will always miss you, my dear friend, my fellow Minnesotan, Save me a space,,,
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
