Ruth S. Duberstein, after living a full and abundant life, passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 96. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on April 23, 1927.  Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Rose and Sam Spielman, her husband and the love of her life, Mel Duberstein, her son, Roger, and brother Gerry Spielman.

Ruth’s family was her priority.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She is cherished in memory by her son, Paul (Gail), grandchildren, Jennifer Bredal (Lars), and Adam Duberstein (Katy), and 3 great grandchildren, Ethan, Chase, and Ben.

Ruth was an avid reader, who loved books, learning, and a good discussion on any topic.  Her gentle spirit and kindness will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
