He attended Ferguson High School from 1986 to 1989, making a lot of friends through his love of skateboarding.
He loved working on cars in his early adulthood, reading Lord of the Rings books, and watching Star Wars. He was employed in the early 1990’s with Year Round Lawn Maintenance where he did lawn care and sprinkler installation. He also worked with a friend to learn to install carpet and tile and was later employed at Pearls Flooring, Jacks Tile and Carpet as well as other carpet companies locally as a carpet and tile installer. Since he loved working with his hands, he went into property maintenance and was most currently employed at City Center Inn in Newport News, Va.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orval “Oggie” and Leila Bonifacio and his parents, Arthur “Eddie” Sellers and Sandra Bonifacio. He is survived by his daughters, Samantha (Rob) Sellers, Marie (Travis) Duncan, his granddaughter Melanie, his sister April (Ernesto) Perez, his nephew Jonathan, his cousins who he thought of as sisters, Kim Chase and Nikki Breen, his niece in heart Sydney, his aunts Paula Rowsey, Rose Sterchi and Priscilla Bellamy as well as numerous friends throughout his life. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Virginia Oncology, especially Dr Kruger, and Riverside Oncology Unit nurses for offering such compassionate care. A celebration of his life will take place at a future time. The family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
