Samuel Joseph Morgan of Virginia Beach passed
quietly 6/28/10. He was a beloved musician in
the area, and spent much of his younger life
traveling with big bands, he even had the opportunity
to work with the late Count Basie.
He is survived by his daughter, Julie Morgan.
He was laid to rest at a private ceremony next to
his beloved wife of 64 years. Donations can be made
to NMSS, 760 Lynnhaven Pkwy, Suite 201
Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
Cremation Society of Virginia assisted the family.
