Sandra Counselor Andrews Everton passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 88.
“Sandy” was the beloved wife of Will Mallory Everton for 67 years, mother of Dean Everton and Lee Ann Everton Dail (Wayne), and grandmother of four: Caylan and Haley Everton, and Izaak and Cody Dail.
She loved helping people and was a kind friend to many. She was a teacher and counselor in the Norfolk school system for 40 years.
Her passion was flower arranging. She was in several flower guilds for many years, including at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, where she was a life-long, active member.
Her memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Church in Kempsville on Sunday, January 28, at 2 pm. If you’d like to honor her memory with a donation, please send it to the Emmanuel Episcopal Flower Guild at 5181 Singleton Way, Va. Beach, VA 23462
