Continue ReadingVirginia Beach- Sandra “Sandi” M. Burns, 51, went home to be with her Lord on October 22, 2018. Sandi was the daughter of William O. Burns, Jr. and Lynda Scott Burns. Sandi graduated from Kempsville High School in 1985 and was a member of Carrow Baptist Church. Her passion for life was found in her green thumb for reviving plants and fostering animals. She also enjoyed fishing. Left to cherish her memory is her son, William “Logan” Weeks; her parents; her sister, Bonnie and husband, Bruce W. Jackson; her niece, Tiffani and husband, Jarrett Phillips; and her nephew, Travis W. Jackson. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Luna and Salem. A memorial service will be held 10-27-18 at 12:00 pm at Carrow Baptist Church.
