Sandra Smink McDaniel, 80, passed away February 24, 2021 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Sandra was born September 7, 1940 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Arthur “Bill” and Mabel Smink.

Sandra retired from the Suburban Grading and Utilities, Inc. as a controller. She was a long time board member of the Kempsville Greens Civic League and started the “Lunch Bunch.” In Sandra’s free time she enjoyed spending time at home and being around her friends and family.

In addition to being deceased by her parents, Sandra was predeceased by two brothers, John Douglas Smink and Arthur W. Smink, and several cousins in Florida. Left to cherish her memory are Robert E. McDaniel; sister-in-law, Dorothy Paige Smink of Windsor, NC.; two nieces; four nephews; and many dear friends.

Per Sandra’s wishes no memorial service will be held after cremation. The family will receive guests on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 11:30-2:00 at the McDaniel Residence.
