Sara Anne Bearden Browder went home to be with the Lord, while surrounded by her three daughters, February 6, 2021. Sara was born December 19, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to the late Avery Dowell Bearden and Sarah Brooks Bearden. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Avery D. Bearden Jr., aunt and uncle, Annyce and Myrton McDonald, who assisted with her upbringing after her mother’s passing and cousins Lynn and Rod McDonald, along with many other loved ones.
She attended Thomas Jefferson High School and Texas Tech University. After college, she moved to Midland, Texas where she lived and reared her family, for 30 years. She worked as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant for various businesses, primarily in the oil and gas industry, with her longest tenure being The Wilson Companies, and Word B. Wilson Investments LP. In 2002, she moved to Dallas, Texas to be close to family, and continue her career.
After retirement, Sara cherished time with her family, including daughters, Shelley Browder Boyle and son-in-law, Brent Boyle of Cypress, Texas; Catrina Browder Jones and son-in-law, Josh Jones of McKinney, Texas; and Julie Browder Warlick and son-in-law, Philip Warlick II of Yorktown, Virginia. Her grandchildren were the true joy of her life; Tyler, Blake and Ryan Boyle; Colton Jones, Logan and husband, Tyler Cornett; Tripper, Nathan and Jenna Brooke Warlick; and Brytni and Colyn Moore. She was lovingly known as Nannah to her grandchildren, and their friends alike. She served as a strong mentor, constant encourager, and trusted confidant. Through the years, her loving heart, unbiased approach, willingness to listen and sound council provided great comfort to countless.
Her faith was the driving force in her life. She was a woman of great strength, wisdom, perseverance, selflessness, determination, and wit. Her love for the Lord and unwavering faith are her greatest legacy.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on February 26, 2021 at 2 PM, in the Chapel of Cottonwood Creek Church, 1015 Sam Rayburn Tollway, Allen, Texas.

Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News assisted the family with arrangements.
