Sharon’s family were descendants of pilgrims who came to America on the Mayflower. She was an Army brat growing up and became a Navy wife. Being a Navy wife, she and her family moved a few times but always returned to Fairfax, VA, where she was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. In 2020, she moved with her family to Virginia Beach, VA.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert “Bob” Presnall; her daughter, Christine Presnall; her godson, Matthew Mueller; and her sister, Korene Mattingly.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Church of the Good Shepherd at 2351 Hunter Mill Rd, Vienna, VA 22181.
