Shirlene Rose Edmonds passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on October 31, 2015. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Carl L. Edmonds; her daughters, Kelly Gwinn and Amy Edmonds; two sons, Carl L Edmonds (Dusty) and Thomas J Edmonds (Pepe); her son-in-law, Michael R Gwinn; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Edmonds; and finally her beloved grandson, Michael T Gwinn (Mikie).
Shirlene, Mom, Mama, fought a tough battle her last year of life, though you can bet when she visited the multitude of doctors they thought there couldn’t possibly be anything wrong with this impeccably dressed and bejeweled lady, her hair and make-up done to perfection. They never failed to mention how wonderful she looked!
Shirlene’s family will be forever grateful to so many of her friends that continuously supported her and them throughout this time…the Bunco girls, the Stitching ladies, though they never did sew, her Running Man neighbors and her Curves friends. Special thanks to Wendy Swartzendruber, Kay Payne and Kay Popp, who were tireless in supporting Shirlene along her journey.
Final arrangements will be private; however, Shirlene’s friends are invited to her home on November 4, 2015, from 6 to 8 PM for a time of fellowship and remembrance. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, any memorials be in the form of donations in her name to a charity of your choice. Condolences to the family may be made at vacremationsociety.com
