Loved to have Stan around at the Builders Exchange. He was always upbeat and cheerful. He liked our coffee here. I remember one Christmas he gave lottery scratch-offs to us for gifts. He will be missed!

In the 22 years I worked for Glidden Paints, Stan was a regular at our store. We shared many, many laughs and stories, and he always gave me good advice on many things. There were times he made me laugh until I cried. He was always a bright spot in the day. I will remember him fondly and with a smile. My deepest sympathy to all of his family that he adored so much. Garnett Thompson

Nancy and Dick Drury left a message on November 5, 2010:
We have known Stan and Johnnie for over 43 years. We lived next door in Virginia Beach for many years and shared many fond memories of our children growing up and playing together. Stan was the last of the great joke makers and Dick and Stan would duel over jokes with Stan usually winning with the last one. He was always a prankster, along with Dick, especially during Halloween; putting Ray Strangway's canoe on their roof, cutting the TV antenna to Tom Goodall's TV during the Oklahoma vs. Texas game. He will truly be missed but will remain in our prayers and thoughts forever.
Bob & Carole Drury left a message on November 6, 2010:
I was so very sorry to hear of Mr. Hahn's passing. He was a great person and a good friend to many. I have fond childhood memories of Kemper Drive in Virginia Beach--I'll never forget the man in paint clothes who was always so nice to my family and me. You could always count on Mr. Hahn for a great joke; his sense of humor was like no other. He will be sorely missed. Our deepest sympathy to the family. - Bob Bobby Drury

Stan was consistently pleasant and fun to be around. We were blessed to have him as a neighbor and friend for forty years. We have many wonderful memories of him since we got the canoe down. Our condolences and love to Johnnie and the family.
