Stanley Lee Teabout, 77, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the evening surrounded by his family. Stanley was born in Norfolk, Virginia on August 16, 1933 to Iola Ruth Coggsdale and George Benjamine Teabout. Stanley was a resident of Norfolk and Virginia Beach for his entire life. Stanley spent much of his career in the Civil Service and was an extraordinary auto mechanic. Stanley was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and The Moose Lodge. Most importantly, Stanley was a wonderful husband, father, and friend who always put the needs of others first before his own. Stanley is survived by six children: Bryan Teabout, Cliff Teabout, Russell Teabout, Vicki Teabout Boyd, Mike Arwood, and Nancy Houseman along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Per Stanley’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. Stanley will be buried in Greensboro, North Carolina at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family. Condolences may be expressed at www.cremate.org.
