October 30, 1994 - February 21, 2021

Starlett Elena Hilton, 26, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Newport News, VA. Born in Russia, she came to the United States in 1996 to live with her parents, Robert and Darla Hilton in Broken Bow, OK. Upon graduation from Broken Bow High School in 2013, Starlett began an accomplished career with the U.S. Navy and received an Honorable Discharge in 2019. Following serving her country, she became employed as a contractor with Newport News Shipbuilding.

Starlett was a faithful Christian and a member of the World Mission Society Church of God in Newport News. She was an active jogger and loved nature and anything outdoors.

Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Robert and Darla Hilton; sixteen siblings and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Broken Bow, OK. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to a charity of choice in Starlett’s memory.

I just came across this. My deepest condolences for her family. Star was a good friend and Ill always remember that smile. My deepest memory was when Missionary called "Star" and we both started reading at the same time. Something that always stuck with me. Til we meet again "Star"

Sorry for a loss of a co-worker and a good friend.

I worked at the shipyard with her and from the very first moment we spoke I knew she was a very genuine and very hard worker. She always greeted everyone she passed with smile and stayed on her job. When I heard what had happened to her I felt an unfoundly pain in my chest. How could such a bright soul experience such an unfortunate situation? I was hopeful that she would pull through but to no avail not make it. Even though she was a contractor she was still family and that she mattered most just like everybody else in the project. I hope and pray that her family and friends can find peace through this difficult time. Star has touched so many souls and we will never get her.

Hilton, You were the sweetest person I’d ever met! You always wore a bright smile that could make any day a better one! You would pray with me and always have words of encouragement for me and the rest of your shipmates.. I love you so much and I know you’re in heaven shining down on us.. a real angel on earth turned angel in the sky❤️ I love you sweet sweet girl! Rest well❤️❤️❤️

I would give anything to go back to when things were much simpler. Running around the woods looking for fairies as little girls, swimming from morning to night during the summer, catching frogs and tadpoles, and all of the other countless memories we had. Anything you did you did it wish so much passion and nothing could get in your way. You were so loved and will forever be missed by so many. I was very lucky to have you as my aunt/ built in bestie growing up. Rest in love, Star.

If I knew 2016 was going to be the last time I seen you, I would have scrambled and fought just to see you one last time. Me you and Skilyn all decided after this virus was over to go back home and for you to meet my daughter. You where most definitely the best outta us siblings. I'm the 2nd oldest of 17 and I can tell you she has the biggest smile of all of us. I remember when our mom and dad brought them home she had that smile. Its comforting knowing she has touched so many hearts. RIP Star!

I don’t even know where to start. Star aka Reagan was one of my best friends out here in VA. Every moment spent with her was so positive and uplifting. She was always a happy vibrant person. I loved spending time with her, talking to her. I’m proud to call her my friend. I’m so sad that she had to leave so sudden. It hurts my heart so much but knowing she is in a better place is helping. So Reagan, i love and miss you so much and I will always be your Deja. May we meet again.

Star was an amazing person with a beautiful personality. I’m so happy I had the chance to meet and befriend her. May her family find comfort as she rests peacefully. She will be missed ❤️

I am praying so hard for the family. I had the pleasure of working and hanging with Star for the last year and a half & I’m so thankful she was able to share her kind spirit with me daily. I am so sorry for your loss. Star was very special to me; friend, work mate, and like a daughter. We spent a lot of time together at work and I miss her so much. I was very proud of all her accomplishments. She told me alot about her childhood and family and loved you all very much. She was also very funny and made me laugh. I love you my shining Star.
