Stephanie Anne Hiniker, 64, was loosened from her earthly bonds and slipped into the hands of God on Saturday, September 16, 2023. No more pain and no more suffering. Stephanie was born in Washington, D.C. on July 28, 1959 to Edward and Opal Campana and enjoyed the adventures of growing up an “Army Brat”. She graduated from Denbigh High School and Medical Careers Institute, where she trained for her life’s passion – being a Certified Medical Assistant. She loved her career and worked in her chosen field until her health began to fail last summer.
Stephanie was predeceased by her father, Edward Campana, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Opal Carter; sister, Regina Jobes (Bruce); sister, Christina Campana; brother, Edward Campana, Jr.; son, Tony Firman; daughter, Sara Bonniville; grandchildren, Hunter, Isaiah, Tony, Jr., Alexus, Tristan, Peyton, Faith and Chance; great grandchild, Brantley; and her beloved kitty, Pima.
Cremation Society of Virginia is handling arrangements and, at Stephanie’s request, services will be private. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
