Stephen Thomas "Tommy" Melvin

Stephen Thomas ‘Tommy” Melvin, Jr., 46, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 in Newport News, Virginia, surrounded by his loving family. Tommy was born September 24, 1977 to Betty Jo and LeRoy Brown.

Tommy was an amazing son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his four children, Janie, Lanie, Logan, and Alexis; fiancé, Jennifer; sister, April (Keith); mother, Betty Jo (Harold); three aunts, Trisha, Barbara, and Mary; five nieces, Alexus, Fayth, Rebecca, Aeriana and Isabella; one nephew, Jackson; three great nieces, Adalyne, Emilia, and Delilah.

He was very dedicated to his family and known for his goofy personality. You could always count on him to make your life.

Tommy will be forever missed by all who knew him.
