Steven “Kent” Potter, age 63, passed away on June 17, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Melanie; sisters Janis and Elaine, and his best friend, Mike. Kent retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a supervisor after 30 years of dedicated service. Kent had a passion for gardening, music and history. He enjoyed visiting our country’s national parks. A “celebration of life” service will be held July 11th at 10 a.m. at Unity Renaissance of Chesapeake.
