Born on June 22, 1975 in Newport News, VA, she was the cherished daughter of Gerald Vines of Hampton, Kathryn and step-father, Pete Duus of Virginia Beach and loving sister to Lisa Vines of Virginia Beach and Amber Burdo of Virginia Beach. Susan is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who knew of her deep love of family where she felt peace and contentment. Susan earned a Bachelors Degree from St Leo University in Hampton. Susan will be remembered for her love for dogs, especially Willis and Rusty. We pray Susan has found peace and happiness.
Susan’s life will be celebrated in service Saturday, July 19, at 3pm at the Ivy Farms Church of the Brethren, 681 Dresden Dr. Newport News, VA 23601 by Pastor Petersen. Cremation Society of VA is assisting the family.
