Tanya McMichael

Norfolk- Friday February 16th, 2018 heaven gained a new angel. Tanya Michell McMichael, or Missy as she was known to most, gained her wings and flew at 12:18am to go with our loved ones that preceded her. After a long battle with her illness, she passed peacefully and comfortably in her home with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her mother, Robin Cubilla Kessler and many other family members and loved ones. She leaves behind her grandmother, Dorothy B. McMichael, her father, Walter B. McMichael, her aunt, Nancy Trower, her loving son Kole B. McMichael, her sister Rena M. McMichael, two nephews, Austin Potter Jr. and Walter G. McMichael and his family, fiancé Miceala Butler, and their children, Nicholas and Nathaniel McMichael, plus an extended amount of friends and family. A small intimate ceremony with close family members only will be held at a later date.
