With broken hearts, we share that Tara Lynne Bosher, or T.L.B. as her Daddy called her, passed away peacefully in her sleep early in the morning of August 5, 2023. Tara was just 48 years old and she fought one hell of a fight against cancer. Tara lived in Chesapeake, VA with her boyfriend, Joshua Jando and her fur-baby and best friend Walter, who misses her taking him for their walks.
Tara was born on October 16, 1974, in Richmond, Virginia to George and Amy Bosher. (She always was Georgie’s favorite). She grew up in Midlothian, Virginia, and graduated from Midlothian High School. Tara earned her bachelor’s degree from Mary Baldwin University and her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She was incredibly proud of her M.B.A. and worked her tail off to get that degree. She deserves a round of applause. Tara worked with Serco North America as a Project Administrator for many years where she proudly supported “her guys” to be sure they had everything they needed to protect our Country.
Tara is survived by her parents George and Amy Bosher her sister Kerri McDaniels (Kevin, Emilie, and Luke), and her brother Bret Bosher (Tonya) along with many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Tara is also survived by so many others who loved her spunk, her fierceness, and her loyalty. She loved and adored her best friends Natalie Franklin and Tiffany Hill and her boyfriend and partner Josh Jando and his son Preston. Josh, Natalie, and Tiffany were incredible caregivers throughout Tara’s fight and even more incredible as those that Tara called family.
Tara was the very best daughter, sister, friend and neighbor. Her joy for life was contagious, her smile full of life and love for all. She will be more than missed as she brings light to all those who have gone before her. We know that Tara is with us always in our hearts and in our memories. Tell stories of her, share her words, pet a dog, help out others – in this way she will stay with us.
The family will have a private celebration of Tara’s life in the upcoming weeks. Rather than sending flowers please consider making a donation in her name to one of Tara’s favorite organizations, the Columbus Zoo – Wildlife Conservation Fund. https://www.columbuszoo.org/wildlife-conservation-fund
