Moyock, NC – It is with great sadness that the family of Teddy Harness announces his passing on June 17, 2018 at the age of 70. Ted was a loving, devoted, hard-working man dedicated to his family. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will forever be loved and missed by his family and friends.

Ted was survived by his wife, Sharon Harness of 51 years and three children: Wendy Harness, Kelly Harness and wife Jenna Harness, Aimee Thomas and husband Dave Thomas; his brother and sisters Don Harness and wife Pam, Debbie Robinson, and Denise Harris and husband Ron Harris. Ted was also survived by his grandchildren; Bailey, Layne, Bria, Chase, Kalysa, Kirstyn, Kameron, Brody, and Kenna and along with great grandchildren Skylar, and Brett who will all miss him dearly.

At the request of our father, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Condolences may be registered online at vacremationsociety.com.

Teddy was a great uncle. He loved his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor.. I’ll never forget years of walking across the street to visit my aunt Sharon and uncle Teddy ❤️ He’d say “awe crap it’s easy Coleson”. Love you Teddy we’ll miss you dearly.

Hey Sharon, just want you & your whole family to know how sorry I was to get this news about Teddy. He was a good friend and I will miss his morning visits for coffee, talking about hunting, 57 chevy's and how the "democrats" are taking over! One thing I know is he truly loved his family. Anyway I Just wanted to let you know i'm thinking of ya'll and if there's anything I can help you with please let me know.

When he closed his eyes on this Earth he opened them in the arms of Jesus. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. My heart breaks for your loss.

Teddy was an amazing person! He could make anyone laugh. He was by far my favorite uncle and I’m going to miss him terribly! I took for granted that he would always be around, him and his larger than life personality. I’m forever grateful that he was my uncle. Love to my aunt, cousins and the rest of his family. He will definitely be missed!❤️
