My heart goes out to the family at this time. I worked for Terry many years ago within Old Dominion University's Accelerated Career Transition Education (ACTE) Program. Terry was definitely a dynamic visionary. He was dedicated, persistent, driven, excited, inspirational and yet very caring. He led the charge to provide free training to Virginia civil service employees affected by the BRAC list in a $7 million Department of Labor grant that he headed. Terry with an inspired team was instrumental in connecting with government, military, civil service, businesses etc. to provide workforce development opportunities within the ACTE Program for students to find their next step after BRAC. He then went on to be the Director of the Hampton Roads Technology Council when he brought together numerous businesses and educational institutions to move the area forward in technology. His legacy will live on through the many people and businesses that have benefited from the programs he championed.
