Terry Robinson Cleaves, formerly of Gaithersburg, MD, died Friday, March 8, in Williamsburg, VA. She was the beloved mother of Craig B. Cleaves (Liz), Brian S. Cleaves (Lily) Eric A. Cleaves (Sandy), Dean M. Cleaves (Carolyn); grandchildren Courtney, Allie, CJ, Shannon, Erin, Zoe, Megan, Corbin, Haley, Peter and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, June McMurray and stepfather Max McMurray.
She was a member of the Congressional Country Club where she was an avid tennis player and golfer. She enjoyed time at her home in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
She was born in Colorado on February 17, 1937, and grew up in Oakland, California. She moved to the Washington, DC area in 1960 where she raised her family.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
