Theaudrey Ramona Wright born on April 28, 1938 in Beckley, West Virginia, Wednesday October 7, 2020 at the age of 82 she passed away peacefully at home in Hampton, Virginia surrounded by love ones. She was a longtime residence of Columbus, Ohio and preceded in death by her parents, William Boyd Sorrell, Sr. and Alice Cornelia Pryor Sorrell, and brothers, William Sorrell, Jr. and Don Sorrell.
Ramona affectionally know as Mona was retired from the nursing field at Ohio State University.
In 1981 Sister Wright became a baptized Jehovah Witness. As a loyal and dedicated servant of Jehovah she touched the lives of many individuals through bible studies, field service, mentoring, helping to feed and clothe those who were in need. Sister Wright open up her home to foster children to whom she loves as her own. She loved reading the bible, singing, playing games, fishing and watching basketball games.
Left to cherished her with loving memories are her daughter, Rita Maria Smith (Reginald); grandsons, Andre’ L Smith (Monique) of Newport News, Virginia, Reginald L. Smith Jr. of Petersburg, Virginia; great grandson, Treyvon Smith; great granddaughters, Patrice Bradley and Kalyn Vincent; great great granddaughter, Autumn Janelle Smith; brother, James L. Sorrell (Jacqueline) of Columbus, Ohio; nieces, Diane Sorrell of Phoenix Arizona, Keea Sorrell of Atlanta Georgia, Tameka D. Gaulin (Steve) of Hampton, Virginia, Tiaundra D. Montcrief (Byron) of Kathleen, Georgia, Elisha Garrett of Columbus, Ohio; nephews, Nicole Sorrell of Buffalo, New York, and Paris C. Sorrell of Westerville, Ohio, William D. Sorrell (Laura) of Westerville, Ohio, and Don Sorrell, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; and numerous grand nieces and nephews; and special friend/sister, Laurabell Morton of Columbus, Ohio. The family sends out a special thanks to Private duty CNA Margaret Palmer and Angela Lamb Giles, and to CNA Pat, along with others staff members of Heartland Hospice.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 17 at 3:00 PM virtual.
