SHE WAS BORN OF FRENCH-ACADIAN HERITAGE ON APRIL 10, 1938 IN
MADAWASKA, MAINE. SHE WAS OF THE CATHOLIC FAITH. SHE OWNED
A VINTAGE CLOTHING STORE CALLED “THERESE’S PLACE” FOR MANY
YEARS. SHE WAS AN AVID WRITER AND READER AND HAD MANY POLITICAL INTERESTS. SHE WAS ALSO A DEDICATED BINGO PLAYER.
SHE LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORY; STEWART, HER HUSBAND OF
53 YEARS; HER DAUGHTER, DIANA AND HUSBAND TERRY; HER DAUG¬HTER SHELLEY AND HUSBAND TOM; AND HER SON, GREGORY; HER
GRANDCHILDREN, NICHOLAS RACHEL, AMANDA AND ZACHARY.
HER BELOVED SISTER, PAULINE BENNER AND HUSBAND AL OF SAN
MARCOS, CALIFORNIA. SHE IS PREDECEASED BY A BROTHER, LOUIS
COTE.
SHE LEAVES BEHIND WONDERFUL FRIENDS AND AQUAINTANCES. SHE LOVED HER “GRAND-DOGS”AND ALL OF GOD’S CRITTERS.
THE FAMILY WISHES TO EXPRESS THEIR GRATITUDE TO THE CAREGIVERS FROM ODYSSEY HOSPICE FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE DURING HER FINAL JOURNEY.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT THE GREENLAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS MAUSOLEUM AT 3920 ARLINE BLVD, ON OCT 16, 2009 AT 11:00am. BURIAL WILL BE PRIVATE.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS DONATIONS MAY BE MADE TO ST. JUDE’S CHILD¬RENS HOSPITAL OR THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF YOUR CHOICE. CREMATION SOCIETY OF VIRGINIA IS HANDLING ARRANGEMENTS.
