Thomas Clayton Stewart Sr.

Thomas Clayton Stewart, Sr., 80, passed away on October 12, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 11, 1942 in Stoney Point, NC to the late Charles and Mary Stewart. He was also predeceased by his son, Thomas Clayton Stewart, Jr.

Clayton is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Linda Stewart; his sons, Brad Stewart and Gregory Stewart; five grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.

Clayton retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of the Quonset Hunt Club and was president of the club for many years.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October, 21^st, 2023 at the family home. Please call 757-474-9409 or email csv.info@gmail.com for details if you wish to attend.

TC and I first met back in the early 1980’s traveling on Tiger Team for Norfolk Naval Shipyard. I knew from the beginning that we would be friends for many years!! TC was with me the day I got my first Bear! He was as excited as I was!! And our friendship continued for many more years talking about shipyard, hunting dogs and hunting. He will be greatly missed! Thanks TC for being a good friend and mentor! Rest in Peace old friend in the hands of God!!
