I lived with an elegant lady in Ford's Colony in Williamsburg VA. She had a beautiful koi pond with a fountain out in front of her house. It stopped working along with the outdoor lights. Carlotta asked me if I knew of an electrician I trusted. I called Tom after not having heard from him in about 15 years. Tom was happy to come look at the issue. He found the problem and corrected it in a short span of time. He chatted with us briefly as the fountain did it's thing. Come to find out, he and Carlotta share the same birthday. Small world. She asked him for his bill and he only charged her $20 for the gas to drive up there. Carlotta tipped him generously. Tom got in his van and drove down the long driveway. As soon as he left...the fountain stopped working. I called him and he returned. As soon as he pulled in, the fountain began working again. He rechecked everything and found no problem. He left again after a couple full belly laughs. Once again, the fountain stopped. Carlotta was convinced that Tom had a remote switch that he contolled the power with.

Tom was a great friend to me. Always willing to lend a hand or ear when needed. I will always cherish our friendship. The picture I have shared was last time I got to spend with him. I went to visit him. Took him for a stroll outside on beautiful day. He was loving it, as was I. Our condolences to the the family. Tom truly a great man.
