V. Marlene Marlow, 80, passed away peacefully at Hospice House of Williamsburg on September 8, 2018. She was born in Trevorton, PA on July 17, 1938 to the late Paul A. Schwartz and Theda V. Heim. After graduating from Trevorton High School in 1956, she relocated to California, as that was her dream. She was a retired employee of the Clerk’s Office at the Circuit Courts of the City of Virginia Beach, with 19 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur K. Hennesay, Sr and second husband, Gerald Meister.
Survivors include her son, Ken Hennesay (Colleen) of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; daughters, Kathleen Hennesay of Williamsburg and Natalie Marlow Leatherwood of Virginia Beach; sister, Margaret R. Lahr (Ernest); niece, Michelle Sejuit (Jeffrey); nephew, Brian Lahr all of Trevorton, PA; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory is Christina Mills (Michael) and Christine Lindsay (Smiley). Her lifelong friends include, Frances Franke (Eugene) of Lakeside, CA, Mary Ball of Virginia Beach and Michael M. of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by two great-nieces, a great-nephew and many other extended family and friends.

Cremation Society of Virginia assisted the family with arrangements.
