Vary Helen Pepe, known as “V” to those who loved her, age 60, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 3:10 p.m. in Seaford, Virginia. She was born at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan on February 12, 1964 to parents; Frank Dale Diener and June Jeanette (Jackman) Diener who precede her in death.
She was an only child who attended Waterford Kettering High School and graduated class of 1982. Her favorite subject in school was English. Upon graduation she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Greenery Health Care located in Clarkston, Michigan for a total of 19 years. Vary was an angel on earth who loved helping others and was considered a wonderful caregiver. She also met her best friend, Grendel Jacobs, known as “Mama G”, in the same line of work.
She loved family, her friends, decorating, coloring, old cars and trucks, the color black, all types of music, and living life to the fullest. She also loved her State of Michigan more than anything, but sacrificed her life there when she found the love of her life online through Facebook, her spouse, Donald Lee Pepe. They were married in Davisburg, Michigan in the middle of a snow storm on December 19, 2008 by Reverend L.M. Burnett, Sr. Mama “G” drove them to the chapel as there was no holding them back from this union made in Heaven!
She is survived by her spouse; Donald Lee Pepe, her twin sons; Michael (spouse, Charity Adams Taylor) and Mitchell Taylor, her grandchildren; Shane Kimbrell, Autumn Roberts, Annah Taylor, Bianca Wood, Lauren Taylor, Willow Taylor and Lilly-Ann Taylor, Mother-in-Law; Bettie Ruth Pepe, Father-in-Law; Raymond Allen Pepe, Sister-in-Law’s; Lisa Yevonne Gibson (Brother-in-Law, Robert Burns Gibson III) and Tina Suzanne Pepe, Niece Chasity Leigh Gibson, Nephew Robert Burns Gibson IV, Great Nephew Jaden De’Angelo Gibson, Great Nieces; Jada Unique Chatman and Jasmine Nadiyah Womack.
