Venancio Charles Champaco “Champ”, 69, died Tuesday May 1st, 2018 in the hospital. He was born in Chincoteague, VA and resided in Virginia Beach, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus Champaco Champaco and Bertha Kellogg Champaco and by his brother Jesse Champaco. Mr. Champaco attended Granby High School. He retired from Naval Aviation Depot in 1996 after 30 years of Government Service.   He was a proud member of AA for 32 years. He loved fishing, teaching line dancing, and performing DJ services at parties for his friends. Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Mary K. Champaco of Virginia Beach, his beloved biological daughter Tiffany Champaco of Norfolk, stepchildren; Gary Siddons and his wife Terry of Newport News, Jaime Siddons and his wife Mary of Chesapeake, Doug Siddons and his wife Kim of Chesapeake, his sisters Rita Duke and her husband Bill of Wimberly, Texas, Diane Collins and her husband Steve of Hampton, Virginia, Theresa Champaco of Chesapeake, VA., Cecelia Myers of Port Charlotte, Florida, Bertha Pinkerton of Norfolk, Mary McCluskey and her husband Mike of Norfolk, Virginia Mitchell and her husband James of Fredericksburg, VA, David Champaco and his wife Sandy of Crestview, Florida and Martin Champaco of Norfolk., 5 Step-Grandchildren, and 3 step-great grandchildren. As requested by Van, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
