Vera K. many paths have been travelled since our last meeting at Bennerley Road. I remember well those early days of the Vera K dress shop, and your partnership with Harold S. My thoughts are with Maureen and Dawn. You are not forgotten, rest well after a long and giving life.

There is something about losing a mother that is permanent, a wound that will never quite heal. My love and prayers go out to Dawn and her family. Rest in Peace Vera, you are now rejoined with your beloved Cyril.

We were so sad to learn that Vera had passed away and gone to be with her beloved husband Cyril. For many years whilst the couple lived in Winchester we became very good friends and took them both out shopping and other places so that they could get out of the house and not have to worry about the driving. Vera loved cooking and we often shared dinner with her and Cyril and her shepherds pie was the best we have had. Being a fellow Brits it made being away from home seem like it wasn't as far away because for me it was like going to aunties house. We loved them both and will miss them so much. R.I.P. you love birds. Love Alison and Joe.
