Vicki Lynn Bongovanni, born March 2, 1956 in Morrison, Illinois passed away on September 12, 2023 in Newport News, Virginia. Vicki was a spectacularly unique person. She was straightforward, yet kinder than anyone, with a huge heart. Even with her dark sense of humor, she always maintained a beautiful childlike wonder and magical view of the world. She would always find interest and importance in even the smallest of things. She loved art, nature, a good conversation, all of the mysticism the world had to offer, and above all, animals. She was an avid collector of books (she always had a book in her hand), witches, fairies, dragons, rocks, and anything else that made her smile. She was a natural storyteller, and those lucky to have known her will always be left with the way she painted imagery through her words. She was truly one-of-a-kind, and will never be forgotten a single day to go by.

Vicki was predeceased by her husband, James Bongovanni; sister, Mary Kathryn Atkinson; mother, Janet Gloria; and father, Floyd Johnson. Vicki is survived by her son and daughter in law, Shawn and Melissa Williams; grandchildren, Nathan Williams and Emily Williams; daughter, Amanda Douglas; niece/daughter, Lissa Weiss and husband, Branden Tuttle; great-niece/granddaughters, Luca Pecoraro and Lauren Shoemaker; nephew, Tylor McElwee; brother and sister in law, Dan Johnson and Mony Chhoun-Johnson; nieces, Malea and Mllyse Johnson; and niece, Lisa Eklove.
