Virginia A. McCloughan – Virginia Beach
Virginia A. McCloughan, 74, of Onancock, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in Virginia Beach after battling cancer for the past two years. She was born February 23rd, 1936 in Washington DC. to Frank and Lillian Nichols. She is survived by her son, Mike McCloughan, of Virginia Beach, daughter Cathy Wyne, of Poolesville, MD, brother Tom Nichols, of Wanque, NJ, 5 grand children and was proceeded by her husband, Don, of 55 years. She graduated from Blair High School and was employed by the Montgomery County School System. She touched many with her love, humor and kindness throughout her life. She was active in her community as a Cancer Society volunteer, Daughter of the American Revolution, a member of the Onancock Baptist Church and she was a Explorer Post leader serving as a role model for young men and women. In lieu of flowers, send memorials in the name of Virginia McCloughan to the American Cancer Society. A memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
