Wade D. Cavin, Sr.– Waverly
Wade D. Cavin Sr., 75, passed away February 12, 2011. Born April 6, 1935 to O. Fred Cavin and Lelia Iona Williams; foster mother & father Ruth Jemima Worrell and Lawson Worrell. He was a native of Franklin, VA. He was an Indian artifacts and Civil War collector. He was a retired insurance agent of Richmond.
He is survived by daughter, Jeanette Cavin Robertson & husband Brian; grandson Michael Brian Robertson Sr. & wife Brittany; great grandson Michael Brian Robertson, Jr.; brother, Fred Cavin; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends and special friend, Ruby. Wade was predeceased by son, Wade D. Cavin, Jr.; brothers, Hugh Cavin Griffin, Russell Cavin and sister, Jewell Cavin.
A memorial service will be held at Living Hope Community Fellowship, 10001 Fire Tower Rd., Windsor, VA 23487 by Pastor Kevin Payne at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 19, 2011.
