Barbara, I am thinking of you today and thinking of days past when you lived near Barb and Don Cuddihy. Walt and Don flew to Bryson City, NC to pick me up when a hospital wouldn't release me to drive home. They delivered me to Newport News safely and I never forgot that trip. It was a life saver. I hope you are well. Special thoughts and prayers to you. Jackie

Dear Barbara; I was just surfing my email as I had not looked at it in a while and noted your message about that great cousin WALTER. Am so sorry to hear that, but I know how you two were fortunate to have roamed the world together in a fantastic life you will always remember. I am sorry that my brother and I cant make the service on April 19th . My Brother Walter is under hospice care at his home near me, and I help out there when I can. My wife Blanche and I have multiple medical problems ourselves and our travel capabilities are very limited now. You have a wonderful extended family of children that have also been sucsessful in life that can support you.

Barbara, and family, I was so saddened to learn of Walter's passing. He was a great mentor and friend and I enjoyed all the information he has shared about his engineering experiences. He will be sadly missed by those whose lives he touched.

To the Grantz Family - I am deeply saddened to hear of Walter's passing, and my most sincere condolences to his family. I had the privilege to work with Walter during his time at the CBBT when the parallel bridge project was being constructed. His insight into marine bridge construction was amazing. He will be greatly missed. .
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dear Barbara, Traveling on a group tour you never know what kind of people you will be traveling with. I lucked out on the two you were on. Walter could always be relied on to be interested in taking photos the rest of the group were not interested in, like the night we walked down to photograph the Burgos Cathedral. But Walter did not stop adding to my enjoyment of the vacations when they ended. His Travel logs added to it months later. I actually read more signage from them than I did on site. May he rest in peace.
