He is survived by his spouse of 61 years, Linda Aten Joynes, his children and their spouses Walter Cooper Joynes IV, April Joynes Edney (Jeffrey Edney) and Kirk Raymond Joynes (Andrea Roehrs). “Gramps” was also survived by his grandchildren: Dalton Edney, Kaleb Edney, Sierra Edney, Jay Joynes, and Melody Joynes, two sisters-in-law, nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews, many dear cousins, and his beloved dog, Louie.
He enjoyed being at home as was his wish with his family always by his side and where he was able to visit and enjoy many of his friends.
If there is one sure thing to say about Cooper it is that his family was of the utmost importance. He would do anything for his family.
During his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, and going anywhere with his wife.
He will be missed more than you could believe and will always hold a huge place in our hearts. We Love You!
Per his wishes, services will be private.
