Walter Thomas Bondurant, born September 21st, 1967, passed unexpectedly June 14th, 2020.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Anita Dolores Leed; survived by his parents, father Walter M. Bondurant Jr., step-mother Robin Bondurant, step-father Stephen Leed (Sue); his wife, Julie A. Bondurant; his children Crystal Bondurant-Salisbury (Witten), William Bondurant (Theresa), Noah Bondurant, and Zane Bondurant; his granddaughters Sophia and Cassidy Salisbury; his sister Lauren Thornhill (Junior), brother Alex Bondurant; his niece Maddison Thornhill; as well as his step-grandmother Alta Conner.

Tom was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved being on the water, fishing, playing music, and being a crane operator for IUOE #147.

I never got to spend much time with Tom when he was and married to his devoted wife, Julie. I did however spend time with him as a child and adolescent. We played in the sand, laughed and watched him grow. I keep Tom in my mind and in my heart.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very sweet, loving man. Fiercely loyal to his family and those he loved. You guys were so welcoming to our family. Thank you for that. Much love to you. Maritza

We met Tom & Julie shortly after we were married. Our friendship flourished. We moved away from VA, but our contact remained. You are our family! Tom, you will be so missed. The times you and Kenn spent together can never be replaced. The time the 4 of us played hacky-sac in our garage. Watch over everyone in Heaven and know we love you and will always be here for your family, who will always be our family.

The Bondurant family was a second family to me throughout my childhood as they were our closest neighbors and I was very close to Crystal. I knew Tom as a friend of my Dad’s. We spent many days enjoying getting our families together. He definitely loved the water and I got to see that love first hand on their families sailboat. Tom will be missed and love for him will continue as will his memory.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I worked with Tom the refinery. He was such a kind person and always talked about his family. You could tell they meant the world to him. So very sorry

I never had the chance to meet Tom but I want to send my live and prayers to my dear friend Julie and her family Love you

I never got to chance to know Tom well but here’s what I do know - he loved his wife, he loved his children, and he absolutely loved his granddaughters. I would say that is enough to know the true nature of ones heart. He will be missed dearly.
