Bill was a seriously good dude, he knew when to press stop and when to press go, all without making a huge fuss.

You leave such a legacy of kindness and love, Bill. You enriched my life in so many ways, physical (showing up to check the pipes while Michael was deployed) and emotionally with your quiet presence and non-judgemental attitude. We won't get into examples of why that was so appreciated. ;) Michael and I could not have picked better Godparents for our Z-man; you raise the bar in every capacity. To say you will be missed is certainly an understatement, thank goodness I can carry you around in my heart. Give Judy a hug.
Michael Benway left a message on June 17, 2019:
It will seems an empty world not to be able to pick up the phone and sort out issues that he so deftly guided me. He always said I had choices, I could soar with the eagles or gobble around with the turkeys. Barb and I have fond memories of he and Judy at the couples meetings and the pizza afterwards. Thank you for pointing me to a sober and sane life!
