We have been greatly saddened by the news of Bill’s passing. We will always remember him for his kind, outgoing, funny and generous spirit. Words are just not adequate to express how very much we will miss him. We pray that Pat and the family will find peace and comfort in their strong faith and in their loving circle of friends who are there to support them.

May God continue to Bless Bill, Pat and the rest of the Bowling family. Bill was a wonderful friend & neighbor. A proud paratrooper. Always a big smile; always friendly and generous with his time.... The mayor of Queensgove Circle ... It seemed he knew everyone and had many visitors stop and say "hi" each day. He will be sorely missed by so many.

Dearest Pat (or as I called you in 1966-1967 "Miss Green"): Please allow my prayers to surround you and your family in these days ahead! You and Bill were 2 of my most favorite teachers in 1966-1968. You being my 4th Grade Teacher in 1966-1967 and Bill being my Math Teacher in 1967-1968. The pics attached show you with the class outside the school as well as your true athleticism performing jumping jacks in heals and a coat - Amazing! You both touched my life enormously and I am forever grateful for the chance to have both of you in my life. God Bless You Pat ("Miss Green, Mrs Bolling")!

I worked with Bill many years ago at Lynnhaven Middle School. He was one of the kindest, polite, professional teachers I had the pleasure of collaborating with in my years with the VBCPS. I know he will be sorely missed by his friends and loving family. May his memory be a blessing for all who knew him.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
