Virginia Beach- William “Mason” Mundy, 85, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2018 in his home in Virginia Beach. He was born on September 17, 1932 in Orange County, VA. For 61 years, Mason was the beloved husband of Sarah Elizabeth Mundy.
Mason served in the army during the Korean War. He retired civil service at Yorktown Weapon Station.
Mason will be greatly missed by his wife and family; son William (Sara), grandchildren Beth and Megan, and great-grandson Jay, and daughter Beverly (Douglas), and grandchildren Ellie and Ryan. And will be remembered by his extended family and friends.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
