He was the son of William Hilton Baker and Lucille Baker. Terry worked at Newport News Shipyard for 44 years where he helped build some of the Military’s Historic Aircraft Carriers and Submarines. He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Susan Duffee Baker. Son William Randy Baker, Daughter Amy Baker Bobbitt and her fiancee Clyde W. Price; brother-in-law Frank Duffee, three grandchildren Madison, Jacob and Benjamin Baker of Chesapeake VA; mother Lucille Baker; brother Larry Baker; and nieces and nephews of Washington NC and Ohio.
Join friends and family in celebrating the life of William “Terry” Baker on Sat. April 22, 2017- 11:00am at River Oak Church. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to River Oak Church, 255 Great Bridge Blvd. Chesapeake VA 23320 or American Cancer Society.
