Terri, Jeff and family, you probably know Winnie was one of my favorite people. I’m so sorry she has left this world, but glad she didn’t suffer from a long, debilitating illness. She was able to be with Doug until his death and beyond. Their marriage was an inspiration. Skip always called her, “the lovely Winnie”. We don’t remember how that got started. She had another nickname, “the enforcer”. That one came from church where, if someone needed to be a volunteer, Winnie was the one sent to ask them. No one could turn her down! My blessings are for you in this time of grief.

Mrs Bobbio was my teacher in 1970. She was so kind and such a lady. I remember her once telling the class her husband had never seen her in hair curlers. RIP Mrs Bobbio

My sincere condolences at Mrs. Bobbio's passing. I was her student and/or teacher's aide at Highland Springs High School from 1969-1971. Mrs. Bobbio was patient and had a wonderful wit. I have not ever forgotten her. I am sad at her passing, but I know I will see her again on the other side!
