Yolanda Crum, 71 years old, passed away on December 20, 2019. She was born in Michigan and was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents, Martha and Jerry and brother, Jerry, Jr.

Retired from Consumers Energy, she enjoyed gardening, genealogy, reading, spending time with family and friends, going shopping, playing bingo and going to family reunions.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Angel, 48 years old, and spouse, Mike; son, Larry, 51 years old; grandchildren, Kurt (Becca), Melinda (Mike), Morgan Mitchell (Gloria) and Alyse; great-grandchildren, Reed, Jasmine, Grayson, Lili, Jayne, Jade and Jemma; sisters, Gloria, Esther, Irma and Lydia and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her best friend/sister from another mister, Winona Gallant.

A memorial service will be at 12 noon, Monday, December 30, 2019 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel in Newport News, VA.

The family would like to thank Bon Secours Hospice, especially Dee, Debra and Angela, for helping to make the last few months easier and giving Yolanda wonderful care.

Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News is assisting the family with arrangements.
