He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his early years and an avid golfer later in life. He volunteered for many years at the Korean Senior Association in Newport News and was loved by all his friends.
Young is survived by his wife, Soo; his children, David, Linda, and Debbie; his grandchildren, Kasey, Mitchell, and Alex; his brother, Hyung Sik Shin; his sister, Minja Chang and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be dearly missed.
Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News is assisting with the arrangements.
